In March 2019, the Ohio-Pennsylvania Stateline Export Initiative lead a variety of local businesses on a Trade Mission to Bangkok, Thailand and Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The participants included 4 companies from Ohio and 4 companies from Pennsylvania. These two markets are very important to Ohio and Pennsylvania. In 2017, the Ohio-Pennsylvania region reached $5.4 billion worth of trade.

 

The companies that participated in the trade mission received Market Research geared for their business industry, one-on-one meeting with Thai and Vietnamese buyers, as well as extensive assistance. The participants had an outstanding interaction with local companies and positive results.
