The Ohio-Pennsylvania Stateline Export Initiative (OPEI) is a ten-county region focused on expanding exports in the area.

From Brookings Institution:

"The OPEI shows a strong commitment to expanding global economic reach through the identification of regionally competitive strengths and an increase in exports.  Drawing on data and best practices from the Global Cities Initiative, a joint project of the Brookings Institution and JPMorgan Chase, this is the kind of innovative action that is needed to ensure long-term economic success for businesses located in the 10-county area that are interested in expanding to global markets."

Marek Gootman, Director of Strategic Partnerships & Global Initiatives, Brookings
